Capabilities: From Concept to Flight

Yosemite Space advances space technology from initial concept through flight hardware. Our experience spans technology and component selection, COTS electronics evaluation and radiation testing, hardware development with specialized engineering partners, system integration, and pre-flight hardware testing. We have remained technically engaged throughout the development process—from the original idea to hardware ultimately flown in space.

Concept Development

Early-stage mission and technology concepts

Breadboard of the Resilient Affordable Cubesat Processor.

COTS Electronics and Radiation Evaluation

Selecting and characterizing commercial technologies for space environments.

Advanced Space Electronics Development

Translating selected technologies into hardware architectures and working with specialized partners through implementation

Layout of Health Monitoring and Management Board for RACP. It contains components evaluated from ground-based radiation testing.

Integration and Preflight Testing

Evaluating completed hardware and preparing it for payload/mission use

Flight Heritage

Hardware developed through this process that ultimately flew in space

CubeSTAR flight board flown on the MILES 6U CubeSat and deployed during the Artemis I mission.
